Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the day‑to‑day operations of the outlet, ensuring that sales, profitability and customer service targets are consistently achieved. Working closely with the restaurant team, the role focuses on maintaining high product quality, enforcing standards, and fostering a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily outlet operations in line with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor sales performance, control costs and drive profitability without compromising quality.
• Ensure product availability and uphold food safety and service standards.
• Lead, coach and schedule staff, handling hiring, onboarding and performance support.
• Maintain a friendly, customer‑focused environment and embed this culture across the team.
• Address operational issues promptly and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent, high‑quality guest experiences.
• Experience in hiring, team coordination and staff development.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, team members and management.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations, menu concepts, basic food safety and service standards.
• Prior supervision experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Organizational and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field is an advantage.
