Backup & Storage Administrator

About the role

Nahil Computers, a leading IT system integrator in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Backup & Storage Administrator for an enterprise project in the financial sector. You will work closely with the client’s IT and vendor teams to ensure data protection and storage reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Run and maintain enterprise backup and recovery platforms, including daily jobs, restores and disaster‑recovery tests.
• Manage SAN/NAS storage environments – provisioning, replication, performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Apply security, retention and compliance controls in line with banking standards.
• Handle incidents, change requests and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of hands‑on backup and storage experience.
• Strong expertise with at least one solution such as Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup or Dell NetWorker/Data Domain.
• Experience with Dell EMC storage and data‑protection products (PowerMax, PowerStore, Unity, Data Domain, NetWorker/PowerProtect) is a strong plus.
• Current residence in Saudi Arabia.
