Business Development Manager – Defense & Security

About the role

Capijal Consultancy is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the defence and security sector in Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh and working in a hybrid model, you will lead opportunity development, strategic partnerships and customer engagement for defence‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities in the defence and security sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with government entities, defence companies, system integrators and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial discussions and coordinate proposals, tenders and presentations.
• Identify localisation, partnership and market‑entry opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and international solution partners throughout the sales cycle.
• Represent Capijal at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
• Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and provide regular progress reports.

Required profile

• At least four years of business‑development experience in defence, security, aerospace, military technology or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing opportunities and securing business in the sector.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi defence and security market and an established network within the ecosystem (preferred).
• Experience with government procurement, tenders and complex solution sales.
• Excellent commercial, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is preferred.
• Based in Riyadh and eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
