Business Development Manager

About the role

A-Z Experience is expanding its presence in Riyadh and seeks an experienced, commercially‑driven Business Development Manager to build a new‑business pipeline and increase market visibility. The role focuses on genuine client acquisition for events, exhibitions, activations and creative services, rather than simple networking.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Riyadh‑focused business‑development plan covering target sectors, priority accounts and weekly activity targets.
• Identify organisations with real needs for events, conferences, exhibitions, activations and experiential campaigns.
• Research decision‑makers, procurement routes, event calendars and upcoming projects.
• Generate and qualify serious leads, separating actionable opportunities from general contacts.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data, including estimated value, probability, timing, stakeholders and next actions.
• Build trusted relationships with decision‑makers, procurement teams, marketing and communications departments.
• Generate opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, meetings, networking, industry events and strategic partnerships.
• Represent A‑Z Experience professionally in Riyadh and raise awareness of the company’s full service capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of business‑development or sales experience, preferably in B2B environments.
• Strong understanding of how corporate, government and institutional clients in Riyadh procure events and creative services.
• Proven ability to identify, qualify and convert high‑value opportunities.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
