Business Development Manager – MENA Region

About the role

The organization is a leading international membership body focused on digital assets, fintech, and financial regulation. It is expanding across the MENA region and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive membership growth and support regulatory research in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members and strategic partners across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Identify, engage, and onboard digital‑asset companies, fintechs, financial institutions, law firms, and consultancies.
• Conduct outreach, arrange meetings, prepare proposals, and manage the full sales cycle.
• Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
• Develop relationships with accelerators, industry associations, government initiatives, and strategic partners.
• Maintain CRM records, monitor pipeline performance, and contribute to regional growth strategies.
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments affecting digital assets and financial services in the region.
• Produce regulatory briefings, market updates, and policy summaries for members.
• Support responses to regulatory consultations and engage with policymakers.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, policy, legal, financial services, fintech, or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Saudi Arabia with flexibility for regional travel.
• Strong commercial mindset and excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable engaging senior executives and public‑sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with an interest in digital assets, fintech, and emerging technologies.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently within an international team.
