Business Development Manager – Riyadh

About the role

Averda is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in Riyadh. You will identify new market opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and deliver tailored waste‑management solutions that drive revenue and expand our presence in the Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients, government bodies and industry partners to increase market penetration.
• Identify, originate and capture revenue‑generating opportunities across the waste‑management sector.
• Design and execute sales frameworks, marketing campaigns and customer‑retention programs.
• Lead a team of sales and business development professionals, providing coaching and performance oversight.
• Oversee new marketing initiatives and conduct market research to uncover growth prospects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and risk‑management standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of management‑level experience, with at least 5 years in a customer‑facing role.
• Proven track record of business development or sales leadership in Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; MBA is an advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Urdu is a plus.
