Business Development Manager – Riyadh

About the role

Western Union is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its agent network across Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, you will work in a hybrid setting, combining office collaboration with frequent field visits to partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective remittance agents.
• Identify, onboard and activate new agent partners to grow market presence.
• Drive agent performance through sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, pricing programs and product adoption.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Product and Finance to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to uncover new opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews, implement improvement plans and ensure compliance with Western Union policies and local regulations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support partners in achieving mutual growth.
• Travel across Saudi Arabia to engage with partners and support initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in business development, sales, account or partnership management.
• Background in remittances, payments, banking, FinTech or broader financial services.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi payments and remittance landscape.
• Proven ability to manage partner relationships and deliver revenue growth.
