Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive revenue growth by identifying new corporate clients, managing the sales pipeline and delivering tailored gifting solutions. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience while contributing to Floward’s commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking and prospecting.
• Generate leads via meetings, cold calls, emails, presentations and other sales activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations and commercial offers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing and provide ongoing client support.
• Coordinate with Operations, Product, Marketing and Finance to ensure seamless delivery of gifting solutions.
• Maintain accurate client information and activity records in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing to uncover new opportunities.
• Track sales performance, produce regular reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, key account management or B2B sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and acquiring new corporate clients.
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce, FMCG, luxury retail, gifting or hospitality is preferred.

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
