Business Development & Sales Manager – Geospatial Solutions

About the role

ARES Geospatial Intelligence Services, a division of ARES Security Corporation, is looking for an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager to drive growth of its geospatial intelligence and GIS solutions across Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh and reporting to the Regional President, MENA, you will build strategic relationships with government mapping, survey and municipal authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for GIS data modernization, satellite/aerial imagery services and spatial data infrastructure.
• Identify, engage and manage senior stakeholders in Saudi government geospatial, survey, municipal, defense and security mapping entities.
• Own the full sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation and closing.
• Navigate Saudi government procurement, tendering and vendor registration processes.
• Collaborate with technical and GIS solutions teams to produce RFP/RFI responses, technical demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Represent ARES at industry events and government engagements locally and internationally.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecast and provide market intelligence on procurement trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of quota‑carrying sales or business development experience in Saudi Arabia, specifically within the geospatial/GIS technology sector.
• Proven track record of successful sales engagements with Saudi government geospatial, survey, municipal or defense/security mapping entities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geomatics, Geography/GIS, Engineering or related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory.
