Business Development & Sales Manager – Physical Security Solutions

About the role

ARES SMART TECHNOLOGY LLC is looking for an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager to drive growth of its physical security portfolio across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh and reporting to the Regional President, MENA, the role focuses on building relationships with key Saudi government agencies and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy for physical security solutions, including Threat assessment, Command & Control (C2) systems, PSIM, and robotics/autonomy.
• Identify, build, and manage relationships with senior stakeholders in Saudi ministries such as the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Ministry of Defense (MOD), as well as private‑sector customers.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing for government and enterprise opportunities.
• Navigate Saudi government procurement, tendering, and vendor registration processes, collaborating with local agents or system integrators when required.
• Partner with technical and solutions engineering teams to produce compelling RFP/RFI responses, technical demonstrations, and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
• Represent ARES at industry events and exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecast, and provide regular progress reports to the Regional President.
• Supply market intelligence on competitor activity, procurement trends, and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive, quota‑carrying sales or business development experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record of successful sales engagements with Saudi government entities, especially MOI and MOD.
• Deep knowledge of the physical security technology sector, including command & control, PSIM, robotics/autonomy, video surveillance, and critical infrastructure protection.
