Business Development Senior Specialist - Human Risk Management

About the role

SGS, a global inspection, verification, testing and certification company, is looking for an ambitious Business Development Senior Specialist to grow its Human Risk Management services across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on developing new business, promoting the digital KYC and KYE platform and selling background screening and due diligence solutions to organisations in highly regulated, risk-sensitive environments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia.
• Sell SGS Human Risk Management solutions: KYC (Know Your Customer), KYE (Know Your Employee), employment background screening, due diligence and third-party risk management.
• Build relationships with Compliance, Risk, HR, Procurement and C-Level managers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations and commercial proposals.
• Achieve sales targets and stay aware of market trends, regulatory developments and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Compliance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of successful B2B business development or sales experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record selling services to financial institutions, multinational corporations, luxury brands, technology companies or regulated industries.
• Existing network in finance, IT or luxury is mandatory.
• Must already live in Saudi Arabia; no relocation package is provided.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of KYC / AML, background screening, due diligence and risk management compliance solutions.
• Experience selling SaaS, RegTech, compliance technology or digital platforms is a strong advantage.
