Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are a leading global technical services company seeking an ambitious Business Development Specialist to drive growth in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, and converting leads into contracts across energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development activities aligned with the company’s growth strategy in Saudi Arabia.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and new markets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, contractors, consultants and industry stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor upcoming projects, tenders and contracts relevant to the company’s services.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover growth areas.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and proposal teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through proposal and contract award.

Required profile

• 10+ years of business development, sales or commercial experience, preferably within inspection, testing, certification, NDT, asset integrity or engineering services.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and an established professional network.
• Demonstrable network of clients and industry contacts within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record of generating leads and converting opportunities into revenue.
