Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Buyer to manage procurement of goods, materials and services, ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met. The role acts as the main interface between suppliers and internal teams, supporting new projects and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Serve as interface between suppliers and relevant internal departments for buying processes and new projects.
• Monitor and advise on risks or opportunities affecting the organization.
• Identify customer preferences, monitor market trends, competitor strategies and supplier landscape.
• Provide cost analysis, review cost reduction activities and negotiate contracts.
• Manage the full purchase order (PO) process to maintain optimal inventory.
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.
• Conduct market visits to research products, trends and expand the supplier base.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure correct inbound stock handling.
• Collaborate with content and merchandising teams to maximize product visibility.
• Ensure timely reconciliations for smooth payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a similar buying role.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong business sense.
• Analytical and numerically adept with proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet targets.
• Commercial and financial awareness of order fulfilment and profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
