CAD Operator

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented CAD Operator to join its Riyadh team. You will create and modify technical drawings and 2D/3D models using industry‑standard CAD software, supporting engineers, architects, and project managers on infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimise 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications.
• Interpret design briefs, sketches, and technical documentation to produce accurate digital representations.
• Organise and maintain CAD files with proper naming conventions, version control, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and AECOM specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for production, construction, or manufacturing purposes.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Assist in developing design standards and CAD templates to improve workflow efficiency.

• Effective communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
