Camp Boss (Housing & Catering)

About the role

The Camp Boss oversees the day-to-day operations of a camp, including housing and catering services, ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all residents. The role coordinates with other departments to maintain high service standards, manages staff performance, resolves residents' concerns and ensures compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise camp lodging and catering services to meet company standards.
• Coordinate with catering and housekeeping teams for quality and timely service.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and hygiene policies on the camp premises.
• Handle logistics for camp supplies and inventory management.
• Resolve issues and complaints raised by camp residents promptly.
• Manage camp staff, including recruitment, training and performance evaluation.
• Prepare reports on camp operations and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Proven 5+ years of experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Manager or similar role in housing and catering management.
• Knowledge of camp operations, catering services and facility management.
• Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work in a camp environment and handle emergency situations.
