Chief Concierge (Pre-Opening)

About the role

The Chief Concierge will spearhead the concierge operation for the pre‑opening phase of InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, a luxury property in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the role combines guest‑centric service with team leadership to deliver memorable experiences aligned with IHG’s Luxury Fundamentals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination of guest needs, special requests and inquiries to ensure superior experiences.
• Create unique, bespoke guest experiences that cannot be found through standard online searches.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of resort facilities, activities, equipment and services to advise guests and up‑skill colleagues.
• Communicate city happenings and special events to all hotel staff.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager, Duty Managers and other hotel leaders.
• Establish and manage team rosters and labour costs in line with business requirements.
• Continuously develop team capability and competency through systematic training.

• Perceptive, proactive, meticulous, knowledgeable, refined and personable.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a concierge team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey local events and offerings.
• Excellent guest‑service orientation with a focus on luxury standards.
• Ability to manage labour costs and roster planning effectively.
