About the role
The organization seeks a senior HR leader to serve as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Vice President of Human Resources. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CHRO will shape the people strategy for a high‑growth drilling and energy services company operating in Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute an enterprise‑wide HR strategy aligned with the corporate vision and business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all workforce matters.
- Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
- Oversee compensation, total rewards, and performance‑management programs.
- Champion Saudization initiatives and build robust local talent pipelines.
- Drive HR digital transformation and develop workforce analytics capabilities.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi labour law, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance.
- Lead and develop a team of five direct reports across all HR functions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 8–10 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven background in the energy, oil & gas, drilling, or industrial sectors.
- Experience leading HR in complex, multinational or joint‑venture environments.
