Civil Engineer – Airport Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with airport project expertise to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves providing technical expertise, design review, construction supervision and quality assurance for airside civil works and related airport infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise design and construction of aircraft aprons, taxiways, airside pavements and service roads.
• Oversee pavement engineering activities for rigid, flexible and heavy‑duty pavements.
• Monitor earthworks, grading, excavation, compaction, drainage and roadworks within operational airport environments.
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations, borehole and topographical surveys, and GPR scanning.
• Assess survey data, geotechnical reports, pavement designs and utility investigations.
• Manage interfaces with utilities, fuel hydrants, ICT/CNS, electrical, structural, architectural and MEP systems.
• Conduct design reviews at Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, Tender and IFC stages and handle technical submissions such as RFIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably on airport projects.
• Strong knowledge of ICAO, GACAR, FAA, Saudi Building Code and international engineering standards.
• Proven ability to work with contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and coordination skills.
