Cognitive Behavioral Therapist

About the role

A dedicated and compassionate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Therapist is sought to join the team at ABC Center in Riyadh. The therapist delivers evidence-based CBT interventions to individuals and groups facing various mental health issues, develops treatment plans and works with other healthcare professionals to support clients toward mental wellness. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and treatment goals.
• Provide individual and group CBT sessions tailored to each client's needs, using evidence-based techniques to help clients understand and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, monitor and evaluate progress regularly and adjust plans as needed.
• Document therapy sessions and keep accurate client records in line with ethical and legal standards.
• Create a supportive, non-judgmental environment and educate clients and their families about CBT principles and techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators and community organizations, and stay current with CBT research and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field.
• Valid licensure as a mental health professional.
• Specialized training and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
