Commis – Kitchen Assistant (Saudi National Only)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commis to join our culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Commis, you will support kitchen operations and help create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Perform food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Support senior chefs in plating and presenting dishes.
• Contribute to kitchen inventory management and stock rotation.
• Participate in cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities.
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in food preparation and presentation.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.

Required skills

• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
