Commissioning Instrument & Control Specialist – Granulation

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Commissioning Instrument & Control Specialist to join our team and lead the pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities for a granulation plant.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate instrumentation & control pre‑commissioning and commissioning tasks for the granulation plant.
• Review and implement approved commissioning procedures, test packs, loop‑check procedures, schedules and checklists.
• Verify instrumentation and control system readiness before first energisation and plant start‑up.
• Perform and supervise instrument inspection, calibration, continuity, termination and loop checks.
• Conduct cold‑loop, hot‑loop, functional tests and signal verification between field instruments and DCS/PLC.
• Validate DCS/PLC I/O signals, alarms, permissives, interlocks, sequences, trips and control logic.
• Support testing of ESD, emergency shutdown, equipment protection and safety‑related control functions.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, construction, QA/QC, HSE, operations, engineering, vendors and technology licensors.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control commissioning.
• Availability to work six days per week on‑site at the plant location.
