Compliance Officer

About the role

HALA is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the implementation and monitoring of its compliance framework. You will ensure regulatory adherence, help identify risks, and promote a culture of compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of an effective compliance program.
• Review and update company policies and procedures for regulatory alignment.
• Provide guidance to employees on basic compliance requirements and company policies.
• Assist in executing action plans related to audit findings and compliance issues.
• Review processes, documents, and practices to identify potential risks or gaps.
• Conduct site visits and sample reviews as part of compliance monitoring.
• Prepare compliance review reports and document findings.
• Assist in assessing compliance risks across business operations.
• Support employee awareness of policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and support their implementation.
• Assist in reviewing new products and services from a compliance perspective.
• Coordinate and respond to regulatory requests (e.g., SAMA) and participate in inspections.
• Maintain proper records, escalate non‑compliance issues, and update the Compliance Risk Register.
• Support preparation of periodic regulatory reports for SAMA.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar compliance role.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
