Compliance Operations Specialist

About the role

Maqsam, an Arabic AI-powered contact center solution provider in the MENA region, is expanding its compliance function to support rapid growth across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider region. It is looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support compliance operations, maintain compliance administrative tasks and contribute to a compliance framework covering local regulations and international standards such as ISO 27001. The role is hands-on and execution-first, with a strong focus on cybersecurity governance and control oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance documentation and coordinate evidence collection
• Track remediation actions and support audit and certification readiness
• Translate frameworks and regulations into day-to-day operational activities
• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT compliance, audit support, risk management or governance in tech, telecom or cloud sectors
• Experience implementing standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 or PCI DSS, and regulatory controls such as CRF, NCA ECC/CCC or PDPL
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles (access control, encryption, risk treatment, incident reporting)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information

Required skills

• Practical experience with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISMS
• Familiarity with local frameworks such as NCA ECC/CCC, CRF, TDRA and PDPL
• Core cybersecurity controls: access management, encryption, logging and monitoring, risk treatment, incident reporting, third-party security
