Compliance Specialist - IT

About the role

A full-time Compliance Specialist position based in Riyadh, focused on ensuring ongoing compliance with the information technology department's policies and procedures. The role covers policy review, audits, reporting and support of internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with the IT department's policies and procedures
• Review department policies
• Conduct periodic audits and assessments to check their effectiveness
• Prepare compliance and status reports, identify issues and report them to senior management
• Take part in investigations of compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or Cybersecurity
• 3 to 7 years of experience
• Relevant compliance certifications
• Attention to detail, analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and to manage several tasks and priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management and compliance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and ISO 20000
• Understanding of IT regulatory compliance, compliance principles and digital analytics awards
