Computer Engineer – IT Support & Infrastructure

About the role

Saipem is looking for a Computer Engineer to join its IT team in Saudi Arabia. You will support the daily operation and continuous improvement of the company’s technology infrastructure, ensuring reliable services for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing IT activities, maintenance, and network extensions.
• Prepare technical reports, compliance records and apply industrial standards.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Outlook, macOS and Linux environments.
• Install, configure and update laptops, desktops, printers and phones.
• Provide on‑site and remote help‑desk support to resolve OS, application and connectivity issues.
• Monitor server performance, manage backups and ensure system uptime.
• Evaluate and upgrade existing IT infrastructure to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–6 years of experience in administrative or technical support roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
