Consultant – Cyber Defense & Technology Resilience

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to help clients strengthen their technology resilience and cyber‑defence capabilities across Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. You will work with enterprise customers to assess critical IT dependencies, design recovery solutions and embed resilience into their digital transformation journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Technology Impact Analyses (TIA) to identify critical systems and dependencies.
• Plan, execute and evaluate Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and tabletop exercises.
• Develop, maintain and test runbooks for backup, failover and recovery processes.
• Assess data‑centre, hybrid and cloud infrastructures through a resilience lens.
• Translate technical risks into business impact statements for senior stakeholders.
• Support the creation of resilience strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Stay current with regulatory expectations for technology resilience in sectors such as financial services, energy and government.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of technology resilience concepts, including recovery architecture, IT continuity, backup strategies and failover design.
• Hands‑on experience with Technology Impact Analyses and Disaster Recovery drills.
• Ability to evaluate data‑centre and cloud environments and communicate findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience developing resilience strategies or roadmaps for enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to technology resilience (e.g., financial services, energy, government).
