Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist

About the role

The National Medical Care Co. is seeking a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist to deliver high‑quality inpatient and outpatient care in accordance with Saudi Ministry of Health regulations, JCIA/CBAHI standards and hospital by‑laws. The role combines clinical excellence with leadership of the obstetrics‑gynecology department.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for both in‑patients and out‑patients within the scope of clinical privileges.
• Lead the department’s quality‑improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with JCIA, CBAHI and Ministry of Health regulations.
• Conduct daily ward rounds, develop multidisciplinary treatment plans and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Supervise junior medical staff and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate referrals to and from other facilities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of relevant clinical experience.
• Board‑certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a medical team and drive quality improvement.
• Familiarity with Saudi Ministry of Health laws and hospital by‑laws.
