Consultant Orthopaedics, Lower Limb (Part‑Time)

About the role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a qualified Consultant Orthopaedics specialist to provide lower‑limb care on a part‑time, in‑person basis at the ICC physical clinic. The role focuses on delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred treatment for a wide range of hip, knee, ankle and foot conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage acute and chronic lower‑limb musculoskeletal disorders, including fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, degenerative joint disease and sports‑related injuries.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, review imaging, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide pre‑operative assessments, post‑operative follow‑up, and coordinate surgical case management.
• Collaborate with full‑time clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care between sessions.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams such as physiotherapy and podiatry to deliver integrated care.

Required profile

• Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration as an Orthopaedic Surgery Consultant.
• Board certification and residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship in Lower Limb (Hip, Knee, or Foot & Ankle) surgery.
• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) and at least 36 months of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
