Consultant Sports Medicine Physician (CCT/American Board)

About the role

SylvCare Talent is seeking an experienced Consultant Sports Medicine Physician to join a senior clinical team in Riyadh. The role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of sports‑related and musculoskeletal conditions for both recreational and professional athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic sports injuries.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation and return‑to‑sport plans for athletes.
• Manage overuse injuries, tendon and ligament disorders, and exercise‑related musculoskeletal conditions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists and other specialists.
• Deliver non‑operative sports medicine treatments and evidence‑based exercise prescriptions.
• Participate in athlete screening, fitness assessments and injury‑prevention programmes.
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, quality and patient safety.
• Contribute to education, teaching and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Recognised Western specialist/consultant qualification (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Royal College, Irish specialist, Australian or New Zealand specialist).
• Significant experience in sports medicine, including management of acute and chronic injuries.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
