Contract Administrator – Riyadh Project

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to support our construction project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves providing technical and contractual support throughout the tendering, execution, and close‑out phases to ensure accurate documentation, payment claims, and variation management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, contract conditions, technical specifications and Bill of Quantities to support tender submissions.
• Prepare bid packages and assist the materials engineer in obtaining quotations.
• Perform quantity take‑offs, apply contract rates and prepare detailed payment claims and final accounts.
• Monitor and process variations, ensuring proper estimation, authorisation and documentation.
• Maintain continuous communication with the project team to identify out‑of‑scope work and advise the client on variations.
• Coordinate re‑measurement of subcontract works and validate claims for consultant approval.
• Provide contractual guidance to Project Management and participate in dispute resolution with legal support.
• Identify training needs within the department and support staff development.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction contracts and tender documentation.
• Experience in quantity measurement, payment certification and variation management.
• Ability to liaise with clients, consultants and internal teams to protect company interests.
• Proactive approach to identifying contractual risks and opportunities.
