Control Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Control Commissioning Engineer to join a large-scale green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on the functional validation, troubleshooting and commissioning of the plant’s control systems, ensuring reliable operation of the DCS and PLC networks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional checks and validation of the Distributed Control System (Siemens PCS7 preferred).
• Execute MC Walkdown procedures and logic checks across PLC and DCS platforms.
• Troubleshoot control logic and resolve issues during the commissioning phase.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate control solutions into the overall plant design.
• Document test results, generate commissioning reports and support hand‑over to operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in control engineering within large industrial or renewable‑energy projects.
• Proven track record of commissioning‑phase involvement and hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of green hydrogen production processes is an advantage.
