Co‑op Position – Zakat & Tax Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated co‑op candidate to support the Zakat and Tax function, ensuring compliance with the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) and assisting the finance team with capital expenditure and fixed‑asset processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit ZATCA reports, validate tax data and reconcile VAT general‑ledger accounts.
• Identify tax compliance issues, respond to ZATCA queries and coordinate appeals with advisors.
• Review Zakat, tax and deferred‑tax calculations and disclose them in the financial statements.
• Provide continuous AOP and forecast figures for Zakat and tax charges.
• Maintain double‑taxation treaty records and ensure tax recovery from suppliers.
• Develop and implement capital‑expenditure and fixed‑asset policies, maintain the asset register and reconcile depreciation journals.
• Coordinate external auditor queries and manage physical asset inspections.
• Conduct project reviews with the budgeting team to ensure proper asset capitalization.
• Perform quality checks on financial statements during reporting periods and support finance‑operation controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Zakat, tax, VAT, withholding tax (WHT) and transfer pricing.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
