About the role

The Critical Care Nurse – Level 3 provides advanced nursing care within the assigned intensive‑care unit at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care, supporting operational processes, and mentoring less‑experienced nursing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advanced‑level nursing care to complex critical‑care patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Support operational processes, manage workflow, and optimize resource utilization.
• Mentor intermediate‑ and junior‑level nurses, precept new hires, and contribute to staff engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to resolve complex clinical issues and improve patient safety.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, develop and refine nursing protocols, and pursue high patient experience scores.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) from admission through discharge.
• Provide patient and family education while respecting privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences.
• Respond promptly to emergency and life‑saving situations using critical thinking and evidence‑based practice.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with at least one month of clinical experience in a critical‑care setting.
• Ability to mentor and precept nursing staff and to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and continuous improvement.
