Customer Service Representative – Admin (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a versatile, detail‑oriented Customer Service Representative – Admin to join our fully remote team. The position combines front‑line customer support with behind‑the‑scenes administrative duties, offering a dynamic mix of people‑focused and task‑oriented work.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Process orders, returns, refunds, and account changes.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system.
• Provide clear product and policy information to customers.
• Organize digital files, records, and documents using cloud‑based storage.
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendar events.
• Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Perform data entry and keep internal databases up to date.
• Track expenses, process invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
• Support onboarding of new employees or clients by preparing materials.
• Assist sales, HR, and operations with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
• Identify opportunities to streamline service and administrative workflows.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability with keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing across support and admin duties.
• Reliable high‑speed internet and a quiet home workspace.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Freshdesk.
• Familiarity with project‑management tools like Asana or Trello.
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or invoicing software such as QuickBooks.
