Data Control Analyst

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a meticulous Data Control Analyst to join its consultancy team in Al Khobar. The analyst helps maintain data integrity and compliance by developing and managing data control frameworks that ensure data accuracy and security across the organization. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain data dictionaries, data classification and data lifecycle management practices
• Keep physical and system security in place, including server security and user access controls
• Support data stewardship, including data standardization, metadata management and data quality improvement
• Use identity and access management (IAM) systems to verify identities and control data access
• Ensure data is consistent with common data models and validate and audit data using standard technical processes
• Choose storage systems that keep historical versions of data alongside the latest version
• Protect data physically and digitally, and stay up to date with KSA data protection laws and best practices
• Assist with ETL processes for business intelligence and reporting, and help business users understand their data needs
• Recommend training for team members and suggest improvements to systems and processes
• Follow department policies and prepare timely, accurate reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university
• 5 years of experience in the same field
• Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English
• Experience in IT, data solutions, networking or cybersecurity preferred
