Data Quality Development Analyst

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a Data Quality Development Analyst to strengthen its data quality standards and support data-driven decision-making. The role holder designs data quality assurance policies and standards, develops an enterprise data quality solution, defines metadata repositories and master data management, and installs and maintains business intelligence tools. The workplace is on site in Al Khobar.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy and document data quality procedures and their outputs
• Design processes and technology so clients can use enterprise data for business intelligence
• Define data policy, standards and guidelines and ensure consistency
• Coordinate with the Master Data Quality Manager and define a metadata repository for storing and cataloguing data
• Design master data management with processes, governance, policies, standards and tools
• Set quality assurance policies so business intelligence reports are consistent
• Identify data quality issues to improve report accuracy and decision making
• Support development, operations and maintenance of dashboards and reports in the technology environment
• Install business intelligence tools, configure hardware and software, set up user administrators and tune performance
• Recommend training and contribute to improving systems, processes and practices
• Follow department policies and prepare timely, accurate reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent from a recognised university
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality or a similar role
• Knowledge of data quality principles, policies and procedures, and of data profiling tools and techniques
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality metrics and data management principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and detail-oriented approach
