Demi Chef De Partie – Luxury Resort (Red Sea)

About the role

Join the culinary team at Fairmont The Red Sea, a luxury resort within the Red Sea Project. As a Demi Chef De Partie you will support the Chef De Partie in delivering high‑quality dishes for à la carte and buffet services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
• Prepare food items for à la carte and buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Share ideas, opinions and suggestions during daily shift briefings.
• Ensure all kitchen colleagues are aware of standards and expectations.
• Liaise daily with Outlet Chefs to communicate guest feedback.
• Complete daily checks of mise en place to ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain proper rotation of products in chillers to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Have full knowledge of menu items, daily features and promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the culinary field required.
• Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent required.
• Diploma certification in a culinary discipline preferred.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
