Director – Credit

About the role

The Director – Credit will lead the Credit department at Saudi Telecom Company, shaping strategy, policies and compliance frameworks to support the organization’s financial objectives. The role ensures efficient credit processes, risk mitigation and alignment with corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing Financial Policies & Compliance plans.
• Lead and manage the Credit department, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee change management within the Credit function.
• Ensure departmental compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Design and maintain credit disbursement processes, establishing credit plans and policies for each Business Unit.
• Review credit proposals to balance return and risk exposure.
• Benchmark and update corporate credit policies and procedures.
• Introduce innovative approaches to improve credit policy efficiency.
• Monitor credit portfolio, assess customer and vendor creditworthiness, and manage credit limits.
• Handle customer credit complaints in line with approved policies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in credit management, financial policy development and compliance.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a department and drive performance.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate credit risk and portfolio exposure.
• In-depth knowledge of credit regulations and collection procedures.
