Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead all financial operations for The House Hotel Jeddah, a 129‑room luxury property located on the Red Sea coastline. Reporting to hotel ownership and corporate finance, the role ensures accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in line with corporate and ownership requirements.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and treasury controls.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, audit processes, and financial policies to safeguard assets.
• Work closely with department heads to support cost control, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee procurement processes, supplier contracts, and invoice approvals.
• Support pre‑opening or seasonal ramp‑up activities including system setup and financial procedures.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to hotel management.
