About the role

Accor is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead the daily performance of Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, a 5‑star retreat located steps from Al Masjid Al Nabawi. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to drive efficiency, guest satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise daily operational activities across all hotel departments to ensure smooth, efficient execution.
• Develop, implement and monitor operational processes that enhance productivity while reducing costs.
• Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and support data‑driven decisions.
• Lead, mentor and manage operational teams, providing clear direction, feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships, ensuring quality, timely delivery and cost‑effectiveness.
• Prepare and control operational budgets, monitor expenditures and enforce cost‑control measures without compromising service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards, and mitigate operational risks.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in hotel or hospitality operations.
• Strong track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale budgets.
