Director of Risk Management

About the role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead risk initiatives across its hospitality and large‑scale development projects. You will shape the risk framework, ensure robust reporting, and support strategic decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve the Qiddiya Program risk management framework, procedures, templates and processes.
• Oversee identification, assessment and documentation of financial, operational, technical and legal risks for real‑estate development and construction projects.
• Maintain accurate risk registers and databases, conduct regular scenario analyses and produce key risk indicator (KRI) dashboards.
• Design and implement mitigation strategies for high‑impact risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Lead risk reporting, escalation of emerging risks and provide periodic insights to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop the risk management team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Deliver training and support to project teams on risk management practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in risk management for large‑scale development or construction projects.
• Proven ability to embed risk practices into project execution and to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
