Dispatcher – Logistics & Transportation

About the role

The Dispatcher is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily dispatch of finished goods to customers and distribution centers. This role ensures timely deliveries, optimal vehicle utilization, and compliance with Saudi transportation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily dispatches, assigning vehicles and drivers based on priorities and route optimization.
• Monitor vehicle movements via GPS or fleet management systems and coordinate loading/unloading schedules.
• Prepare and verify dispatch documentation such as delivery notes, packing lists, gate passes, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, sales, and customer service to ensure accurate order fulfillment and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Communicate delivery schedules to customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain vehicle availability, track fuel consumption, and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs.
• Generate daily dispatch reports, vehicle utilization reports, and delivery performance metrics.
• Ensure safe loading practices, vehicle weight compliance, and adherence to HSE policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Saudi transportation regulations is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in using GPS or fleet management systems for vehicle tracking.
