Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist supports and coordinates daily logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring shipments, inventory, and internal communications are handled accurately and on time. This role works closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to maintain operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments to guarantee timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and service providers regarding shipment status and documentation.
• Track purchase orders and delivery schedules, reporting any delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and logistics documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, support stock availability, and conduct periodic physical counts.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure system records are updated correctly.
• Communicate shipment, stock, and delivery updates to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Prepare logistics, inventory, and shipment reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management or warehouse operations.

Required skills

• Experience with Oracle or Oracle NetSuite logistics systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
