Early Career Technician Trainee (Electrical)

About the role

GE Vernova is launching an Early Career Training program for fresh graduates interested in electrical engineering. The programme offers hands‑on experience on site, exposure to high‑voltage switchgear, and the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Execute repair and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment.
• Maintain back‑office reporting, test reports, and customer documentation at the site.
• Coordinate with OEMs to resolve complex repair issues.
• Provide technical assistance for installation or pre‑arrangement of projects.
• Lead or support site teams, allocating responsibilities as needed.
• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform LOTO (Lock‑out/Tag‑out) operations safely.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work at various sites across the Kingdom.

Required skills

• High‑Voltage Switchgear knowledge.
• Electrical equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
• LOTO (Lock‑out/Tag‑out) safety procedures.
