Equipment Logistics Manager

About the role

The Equipment Logistics Manager will lead the planning, coordination and optimisation of heavy‑equipment mobilisation, transportation, allocation and utilisation across multiple EPC and infrastructure projects in the MENA region. The role ensures equipment is available when needed while complying with company policies, HSE standards and Saudi regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for timely mobilisation, allocation, relocation and demobilisation of heavy equipment.
• Plan and coordinate transportation, securing permits and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor fleet availability, deployment and productivity to maximise efficiency and minimise idle time.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations, maintenance, procurement and transport teams to meet equipment needs.
• Track equipment movement, schedules and delivery performance against project milestones.
• Manage relationships with transport contractors, equipment suppliers and logistics service providers, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and contractual compliance.
• Oversee equipment inventory, tracking systems and logistics documentation for real‑time visibility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, Saudi regulations and standards for oversized loads.

Required profile

• Proven experience in equipment logistics and heavy‑equipment mobilisation for construction or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of Saudi transportation regulations and HSE standards.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments and external service providers.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills to optimise fleet utilisation.
