Executive Director

About the role

The Academy, a confidential independent institution focused on the retail sector, is seeking a visionary Executive Director to steer its strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall operations and execution of the Academy’s strategic plan.
• Develop and implement operational and financial plans to ensure sustainability and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government bodies and private sector organizations.
• Oversee the design and delivery of training programs and professional certifications aligned with labor‑market needs.
• Manage the performance of the operating company and ensure strong governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Represent the Academy with key stakeholders, industry partners, and external audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in training management or educational academies, preferably within retail/wholesale.
• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and organizational transformation.
