Executive-Event Sales

About the role

The Executive‑Event Sales professional will act as the primary point of contact for guests and partners, handling inquiries, reservations and sales opportunities for Marriott’s event and hospitality services in Riyadh. The role combines front‑line guest service with revenue‑driving sales techniques to maximise bookings and enhance brand loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and resolve guest calls, requests and problems, using up‑selling techniques to increase revenue while maintaining loyalty.
• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail, and enter Marriott Rewards data into the appropriate reservation system.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts (e.g., reward points, tickets, certificates) to recognise guest patronage.
• Promote Marriott’s brand image internally and externally, and process redemption of Marriott Rewards points.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, and monitor performance to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum two years of related sales or guest‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
