Executive Event Sales

About the role

The Executive Event Sales professional will act as the primary point of contact for guests and corporate clients, driving revenue through effective sales techniques while maintaining high levels of guest loyalty for Marriott properties in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests, and problems, routing them to the appropriate department.
• Apply up‑selling and cross‑selling strategies to maximize revenue and enhance guest loyalty.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets, or certificates.
• Promote Marriott’s brand image both internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions, reservations, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter reservation and rewards data into Marriott’s reservation software.
• Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing (filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and ensure courteous communication.
• Support team goals, monitor performance, and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related sales or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
