Executive Manager OPEX Payable

About the role

The Executive Manager OPEX Payable will lead the OPEX payable function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient resource utilization. This senior role supports corporate financial planning, budgeting, and compliance with Saudi Accounting Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and deliver long‑term operational plans for the unit aligned with departmental objectives.
• Review payment and OPEX invoices, allocate accounting entries, and ensure accurate presentation of the company’s financial position.
• Manage departmental resources to match operational needs and optimize utilization.
• Provide data and reports for corporate financial planning and budgeting to senior management.
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with Saudi Accounting Standards and internal policies.
• Lead complex projects, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
• Prepare account analyses, trial balances and supporting schedules for correct financial statement balances.
• Oversee daily bank reconciliation, perform corrections and adjustments as required.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of OPEX accounts payable and monitoring statements.
• Perform other duties as directed by senior supervision.

Required profile

• Contribute to strategic objectives of the sector and coordinate performance of direct reports.
• Set section goals, cascade them to individual objectives and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Guide development of team members and monitor KPI performance of direct reports.

Required skills

• Strong accounting expertise.
• Solid finance knowledge.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or an MBA.
