Export Sales Engineer – Ceramics

About the role

The Export Sales Engineer I will focus on solution selling of EXA Ceramics products to large contracting companies and related stakeholders. The role involves building strategic relationships, modelling financial business cases and matching customer requirements to our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers, designers, architects, contractors and consultants across the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell the full range of alfanar Building Systems ceramic wall and floor tiles, securing approvals from specifiers and consultants.
• Collaborate with the sales manager to set annual sales targets, forecast product volume, value and pricing.
• Provide technical solutions to client queries, handle complaints and ensure timely customer payments.
• Maintain accurate customer records, submit regular sales and monthly project reports, and keep the CRM (C4C) updated weekly.
• Prepare technical pre‑qualification submittals and coordinate with store, logistics and finance teams to ensure on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution selling to large contracting firms and construction‑related markets.
• Strong networking ability with architects, consultants and contractors.
• Capability to develop project lists, identify high‑potential customers and support strategic deal execution.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• C4C (SAP Cloud for Customer) CRM proficiency
• Financial business case modelling
